Ivf Treatment In Turkey

IVF

At Arpanu Medical, we provide top-tier IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) treatments. IVF is one of the most effective methods for couples who are struggling to conceive. The process involves several carefully monitored steps. First, eggs are retrieved from the woman’s ovaries and fertilized with sperm in a laboratory.

The resulting embryo is then transferred to the uterus. This process offers hope to individuals and couples facing infertility issues. A full IVF cycle typically takes 4 to 6 weeks, though this may vary based on personal circumstances or if additional procedures, like genetic testing, are involved.

Additional Techniques of IVF

Several techniques can be used to enhance the success of IVF. One of these is ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), which involves injecting a single sperm directly into the egg, particularly helpful in cases of male infertility.

Another method is Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT), which screens embryos for genetic abnormalities before transfer. This can increase the chances of a healthy pregnancy.

Additionally, any unused embryos can be frozen for future use, allowing you to try again without undergoing another full IVF cycle.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I and my partner get tested for infertility?

Infertility is defined as the inability to become pregnant after 12 months of unprotected sexual intercourse. In other words, if you have been trying to conceive for a year, and haven’t been successful, it is recommended to get tested for infertility to find and treat the underlying causes. This time period for trying to conceive a pregnancy is 6 months in women who are 35 years old or older. It should be kept in mind that both partners should be tested as the fertility problem may stem from either partner or both.

There is no sperm in my ejaculate. Can I still have a baby with zero sperm count?

Azoospermia is defined as the condition when a man does not have any sperm in his semen. However, if you are experiencing azoospermia, and your sperm count is zero in the semen analysis, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you cannot have a child. There are sperm retrieval methods such as Micro-TESE (Microscopic Testicular Sperm Extraction) which allows us to acquire sperm from the testicular tissues.

Does the clinic or laboratory have an ISO certification or other international healthcare accreditation?

Yes, we hold a JSI and an ISO certification.

My first IVF cycle failed. When can I try again?

Although every individual is different, it is not recommended to go through IVF cycles in a row, and the standard interval between each IVF cycle is a full menstrual cycle. In other words, you should wait 4 to 6 months after the pregnancy test step results from the previous IVF cycle are negative.

What to expect throughout an IVF cycle? How long will it take?

Each IVF cycle usually follows the same course as the 28-day menstruation cycle, and it starts on the first day of the menstruation. However, it should be kept in mind there is no standard program applied to every patient as the diagnosis, drugs prescribed, hormone levels, and how they react to the treatment is different for every patient. An IVF cycle consists of the following steps: diagnosis, ovarian stimulation, hCG injection, oocyte retrieval (collecting the eggs from the ovaries), in-vitro fertilization, embryo transfer, and a pregnancy test. These steps may take 3-4 weeks in general.
